WE ALL know Coach Trip, right? Channel 4’s popular daytime show that follows a group of holiday makers on a journey to together - with plenty of hijinks, backstabbing and gossip.

We think an excellent spin-off would see a group of wrestlers taking the same trip across Europe, except add some wrestling into the mix - possibly at some wacky and wonderful venues.

So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the group we’d take on our happy holiday.

Host: Lucy Openshaw (@lucyisnotonline)

A familiar face to many around the British wrestling scene, I have to say that inspiration for this article came from a post Lucy made a little while ago.

As such it’s only right that she play host on our jaunt around the continent - I’ll leave making an itinerary up to her.

Guest 1: Scotty Rawk (@scottyrawk)

With Lucy as host we have to bring Scotty along, right? The relationship between host and guest will cause plenty of gossip for the audience - especially once it comes time to vote people off the coach.

We think the pizza loving Greebo Grappler will also have a great time dissecting the best pizza in Italy.

Guest 2: Harley Hudson (@harleyhudsonx)

Harley’s call-up to our list comes after her appearance on the Grapple Theory podcast - check that out here.

In that chat she says Liverpool is the greatest place in the world, and if it was sunny all the time she’d never leave. So we’d like to see her compare other cities to the Scouse haven.

Guest 3: Gene Munny (@imsomunny)

Don’t deny it, we’d all love to see the Damn Dirty Dog take a coach trip with some of his favourite wrestlers across Europe.

He’d lend some excellent comic relief and provide more than a few memorable moments.

Guest 4: Mariah May (@mariahmayx)

The Glamour will definitely be drawing eyes from across the coach and on day trips, but her heelish ways would ensure she is spreading plenty of twisted tales, getting people kicked off the trip in an attempt to ensure she wins the entire contest.

Guest 5: Warhorse (@jpwarhorse)

The metal loving, caps lock warrior will be the most enthusiastic person on the entire trip. He’ll love travelling Europe’s most beautiful cities in search of the best kebabs the continent has to offer - and trust me there’s a lot.

Guest 6: Lana Austin (@lana_austin1)

Lana will no doubt be front and centre when the camera is around, but of course the real joy on this trip would be seeing how she deals with having to sit on the coach chairs for so long. I’m sure plenty of awkward sitting positions will be seen.

Guest 7: Lee McAteer (@mrleemcateer)

And with Lana on board of course we have to add PROGRESS Wrestling owner Lee McAteer to the mix, simply for the banter that would come of it.

There would be sure to be fighting a plenty and in reality TV we all know that’s the best form on entertainment.

Guest 8: Roy Johnson (@royjohnsonyeah)

The man knows Ibiza like the back of his hand so we’d of course have to take the trip there and have him guide everyone around - showing them all the best things to do.

We all know how he likes to flex his muscles on social media too, so beach days would turn many heads.
