Fantasy Booking: The Ultimate BritWres Promotions Battle

Any BritWres fan keeping a close eye on Twitter will have noticed the brilliant social media rivalry going on between Wrestling Resurgence and GOOD Wrestling.

We’re not sure how this all got started but it seemed to begin when they started to debate which company’s Charli Evans - she’s the top champ in both - would win in a match.

So we’ve decided to built on this and not only fantasy book the GOOD vs Resurgence rivalry but also a whole host of other epic BritWres crossover shows we’d love to see.

So without further ado, off we go…

GOOD Wrestling vs Wrestling Resurgence

We start with the battle we’ve just spoken about between Milton Keynes based GOOD and Midlands’ Resurgence.

Both promotions pride themselves on putting on shows that are definitely outside the box and extremely artistic and unique.

And a battle between both could give us some epic clashes:

Gene Munny (Resurgence) vs Beano (GOOD) - an epic battle of both former champions in both promotions.

RJ Singh and Hari Singh (Resurgence) vs Lykos Gym (GOOD) - another fierce contest that we’d love to see, but Resurgence need to get the Singhs teaming asap to make it happen.

Chakara (Resurgence) vs Brendan White (GOOD) - Chakara is still in line for a Resurgence title shot and we’d love to see her go head-to-head with Bronco.

Cara Noir (Resurgence) vs Mad Kurt (GOOD) - we all love seeing Kurt get beaten up, right? And who better to dish out that beating that the new top heel of Resurgence.

Spike Trivet (Resurgence) vs Mike Bird (GOOD) - two mainstays of their respective promotions, both have had some incredible feuds in their time.

Charli Evans (Resurgence) vs Charli Evans (GOOD) - and so we come to the main event that we all want to see, but we won’t be picking which Chevs would pick up the win here!

TNT Extreme vs Progress

An excellent potential crossover show and one that may not be too far off considering the two promotions are now working closely together.

TNT have already announced a crossover show with GCW so one with Proggy seems the logical next step - and these are some of the matches we could expect…

Kings of the North (Bonesaw and Damien Corvin) (TNT) vs Smokin’ Aces (Nick Riley and Charlie Sterling) (Progress) - what a tag contest this would be! Established vets vs rising youngsters, what a war!

Clint Margera (TNT) vs Charles Crowley (Progress) - Now we need someone to face the TNT Extreme Division champ and we want to see Crowley given a shot to show his more brutal side! We know it’s in there!

Kanji (Progress) vs Lizzy Evo (TNT) - You couldn’t book a TNT crossover battle without featuring The Liverbird and in a match-up of former champs we’d love to see her go head on with Kanji.

Gisele Shaw (Progress) vs Alexxis Falcon (TNT) - in the battle of the women’s champs at each promotion, you could expect a brutal and technical battle from these two!

Scotty Rawk (TNT) vs Chris Ridgeway (Progress) - Scotty is the TNT Ultra X Champion and while Proggy no longer have a secondary singles title, for the moment, we think Riddy would be an incredible opponent for him.

Cara Noir (Progress) vs Dan Moloney (TNT) - the two world champs from each promotion would face off in an epic main event, we’re talking a cracking 30-minute contest.

British Wrestling Revolution vs Tidal Championship Wrestling

Lincolnshire and Yorkshire battle in our next match up featuring two of the best indie promotions the north of England has to offer.

Will Kroos (BWR) vs Brady Phillips (Tidal) - Both of these two are pillars of Tidal but Kroos is also the BWR Underground champ and so would represent the promotion in this match

Tu Byt (BWR) vs Joe Wade (Tidal) - next up, the BWR Cruiserweight Champ takes on the Tidal Open Champ. This would be a great lightweight battle and one we hope gets booked soon!

Second II None (Matt Myers and Nathan Cruz) (BWR) vs The Violence Party (BA Rose and Jack Turner) (Tidal) - the obligatory tag team champ battle come in the form of two real up and coming teams in BritWres.

Gia Adams (BWR) vs RHIO (Tidal) - the match-up pitting the two women’s champs would be such an epic, hard-hitting clash! Gia and RHIO would both go all out in this one as they have before!

Robbie X (BWR) vs Will Kroos (Tidal) - and for the main event Will Kroos would switch allegiances and battle for Tidal as the TCW Champ against BWR’s champ Robbie X. This would be another real brutal contest that would leave a lasting impression.

Wrestle Carnival vs Wrestle Island

An Island vacation or a fun trip to the Carnival, who would come out on top as these two unique promotions square off? Let’s find out!

Charles Crowley (Carnival) vs Warren Banks (Island) - the two top men’s champions of the promotions would have an amazing match if they faced off! Both are up and coming stars and Crowley’s sneaky tactics would give Banks a tough test.

Ivy (Carnival) vs Harley Hudson (Island) - Two stars that have recently been establishing themselves as rising stars in the promotions they are representing on this list. Harley needs to get better soon so this can happen! Best wishes Harley!

RP Davies (Island) vs Joe Hendry (Carnival) - and speaking of stars making a name for themselves at certain promotions, the same can be said for this pairing! We’d love to see how Hendry deals with the boxing background of Davies.

Alexxis Falcon (Island) vs Alex Windsor (Carnival) - Another cracking contest between the two female champions of each brand, can you imagine how hard-hitting this clash would be! The Iron Queen vs the Queen of the Carnival!

North Wrestling vs Discovery Wrestling

Kasey Owens (Discovery) vs Taonga (NORTH) - I’d love to see NORTH introduce a women’s division belt but regardless they have some excellent competitors on their roster and I’d like to see Taonga given a chance vs the Mother of Chaos

Kings of the North (Bonesaw and Damien Corvin) (Discovery) vs Crashboat (Jake Silver and Jack Bandicoot) - now this match would be two very different styles going head-to-head and would also give the fast-risers Crashboat a bar of how much they’ve improved.

Gia Adams (NORTH) vs Molly Spartan (Discovery) - Two hard-hitting lasses that would beat the holy hell out of each other, need we say more!

Big Damo vs Shreddybrek - Local pride on the line for these two absolutely massive competitors, we would be so up for seeing this contest!

Rory Coyle (NORTH) vs Joe Hendry (Discovery) - This would be an interesting one as it would feature two hometown heroes going head to held, holding the top belts of their respective promotions.

Pro Wrestling EVE vs Catch Pro-Wrestling

Now, we know that Catch has an incredible men’s division but I genuinely believe the women’s division at Catch is one of the best in the world and I think a London-Manchester crossover is needed.

Laura Di Matteo (EVE) vs Rhio (CATCH) - Rhio has been making waves herself but there’s no doubt the North West Strong member would represent the Manchester promotion against the new EVE International Champion

The Uprising (Skye Smitson and Rhia O’Reilly) (EVE) vs The Pretty Little Killers (Ivy and Ruby Radley) (Catch) - The Uprising are a daunting prospect but I reckon even they would be a little frightened of the bat-weilding Ivy and Ruby Radley.

Lucia Lee (Catch) vs Emersyn Jayne (EVE) - The Queen of the Catch Pre-Show would be on the main card for this one and I’d love to see her given a chance against EVE mainstay and former champion Emersyn Jayne

Alexxis Falcon (Catch) vs Charlie Morgan (EVE) - Falcon has featured on both shows recently but she’s a northerner at heart and would be on the side of Catch here. I’d love to see her take on another EVE icon in Charlie Morgan.

Jetta (EVE) vs Lizzy Evo (Catch) - okay, come on, who wouldn’t want to see this champion vs champion clash? Two of the best in the business at the moment going head-to-head? Yes please!

Futureshock vs Kamikaze Pro

We end this list with the battle between Manchester and Birmingham as two of the UK’s best rising promotions go head to head…

Sean Kustom (Kamikaze Pro) vs Damon Leigh (FutureShock) - the battle of the two top champions would be such a hard-hitting affair we can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t want to see it!

Chantal Jordan (Kamikaze Pro) vs JJ Webb (Futureshock) - and speaking of absolute wars in the ring two of the toughest up and coming stars in the business would go head-to-head if we were booking.

The Bled (Luke Douglas and Clint Margera) vs The Models (Danny Hope and Joey Hayes) - Two very different styles of team here but we’d love to see The Bled rough The Models up a bit

Chakara (Kamikaze Pro) vs Taonga (Futureshock) - The two women’s champions would take each other on in the main event and what a match it would be. Two of the very best in the country at the moment!
